DIY Wool Pom-Pom Magnets

I was looking for a fun, quick DIY gift recently and came across this adorable idea from Alison Faulkner on the Minted Blog! Alison is a regular DIY Queen, so you can read the simple instructions for these (along with some really awesome glitter magnets) on her post here, but mine turned out too cute not to share!

I made these as Galentine's Day gifts for my friends, something that's become a yearly tradition! I ordered this assorted pack of wool pom-poms on Amazon after doing a little research to find that 20mm balls would fit best on 3/4" round magnets. I had a lot of fun putting together unique color schemes for each set of magnets. For my own home, I'm most drawn to neutrals and I think the tones of this pom-pom set really emphasize the natural texture of the wool.
